Welcome to our Curriculum Based program – Hands On Horsemanship.
Our program is designed to teach students the ins and outs of horsemanship – the care, handling, and basic riding of horses! HOH follows a curriculum each semester that allow students to graduate through our program levels. With 10-12 horses on the property at any given time, there is always something new to learn! The barn is our classroom as we dive headfirst into topics such as anatomy, nutrition, basic care, horse first-aid, farrier care, equipment care and usage, and much, much, more! Classes are geared to be hands on, full of fun and useful information for students of Ages 8 and up (adults included!).
Our program is ideal for…
- Beginner students looking to learn more about horses
- Home-schooled or cyber school students
- Skill building and non-riding learning for current equestrians
We offer a number of weekly lesson time slots
- Monday Mornings and Evenings
- Tuesday Evenings
- Wednesday evenings
